KPV care notebook

Care choices, explained.

When KPV enters the conversation

Get the cost questions straight.

Ask what the charge covers, what sits outside it, and what keeps repeating.

There is no official KPV price to quote

At the check on 28 September 2026, KPV had no approved medicine. There was no drug maker's published price or government-set price for KPV.

A number from an offer cannot stand in for an official price. Ask for a written breakdown of the charges rather than guessing a budget.

Compare the same set of costs

A charge per visit

Ask what that visit includes. Does reviewing test results count as another visit? Is a follow-up question included?

Keep the assessment charge apart from any later treatment quote.

A charge per month

Ask what repeats, what is included, and how the charge ends. Compare the ongoing terms with any opening offer.

Ask whether charges continue while a care decision is still being made.

For tests, ask which test is being quoted and who charges for it. For any proposed medicine, ask for its separate charge.

For insurance, ask the plan what it will pay for the assessment and any tests. Get a separate answer for any proposed treatment.

A quote does not show that KPV is allowed or right for your care.

Make a question list from your quote

Choose what the quote tells you. The list below changes to match the gaps.

Print a copy to keep your answers. Notes clear when this page is closed or reloaded.

Questions left to ask

Start with the questions below; keep any that the quote has not answered.

  • What does the assessment cover, and how will questions go back and forth?
  • Is the charge per visit, per month, or for a fixed plan?
  • What do I owe if the assessment ends without a treatment offer?
  • Which tests are in the quote, and is anything charged apart from them?
  • What does follow-up include, and what would cost extra?
  • What renews, and how can I stop the next charge?
  • What is the separate charge for any proposed medicine?

Keep a cost quote beside the evidence

A clear quote helps compare charges. Keep it beside the answer about the health problem and the evidence for a proposed treatment.
